I couldn't name the ten commandments today...it says in Prov 3.1...but keep my commandments in your heart for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity and I could only name 5! SMH!
- I shall worship no other gods but God
- I shall not kill
- I shall not commit adultery
- I shall respect my mother and father
- I shall not envy or covet my neighbour's wife (hehe)
- Okay that's all I got...canuimagine! So off to google, with my Bible in front of me of course

In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. 12 “ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you. 13 “You shall not murder. 14 “You shall not commit adultery. 15 “You shall not steal. 16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
- I will meditate on these now...not forgetting of course John 13.34:
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
Okay 4.48am, good morning. I 'll go and memorize these commandments and think about what they mean.....

Can you imagine...I cannot remember the 10 commandments. But the truth is that the commandment in the new testament summarizes everything. If we love God and we love our neighbours (friends and enemies alike) we will be able to keep "the law"...

U R right! The commandment in the new testament does summarize it all but sometimes chicca here needs reminding of what love and putting God first really entails Thank God for the Holy Spirit which reminds us.
